Your support can help prevent homelessness for the individuals and families in Indianapolis. By being a sponsor, you will be associated with a growing program that provides a unique and valuable service to the existing homeless prevention programs in Indianapolis.  Your support will be seen by hundreds of people at the event itself, on the website and in marketing materials soliciting bags.

WHEN: September 26 and October 8, 2008
WHERE: Healing Arts Indy and Circle Center Artsgarden

WHY: Handbags are a statement of a person’s unique identity.  Those who struggle with homelessness, struggle to hold onto their handbag and their identity. Many women have their handbags, and their self-worth, taken from them. Their handbag might be empty by the time they reach a shelter or when they defy their sense of pride to ask for help.

"It almost unfathomable to believe that homelessness can still exist in this day and age.  We take so many things for granted on a day to day basis and it is hard to imagine what it would be like to not know where you were going to lay your head at night or where your next meal would come from.  It is important to support programs such as Trusted Partners, to help insure that we are helping to aid in the fight to end homelessness."
